Stacey DuVaul is a composition instructor in the College of Arts and Sciences. She earned both a B.A. in English education and a M.S. in college teaching of English from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, after completing undergraduate work at Westark College (now UAFS) and Oklahoma University. She has secondary education certification for composition, grammar, and literature in both Ï㽶ÊÓƵAPP and Oklahoma and taught all of those plus speech/drama for several years prior to beginning her teaching career at UAFS in 1992. Her philosophy of teaching is that students do not care how much teachers know until they know how much teachers care, so she strives to help all students feel welcome and be successful.
