The Chamber Ensembles at the 㽶ƵAPP will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. April 27 at The Blue Lion at UAFS Downtown.
The performance will feature works presented by the flute ensemble, saxophone quartet, clarinet quartet, guitar ensemble and brass ensemble. The ensembles will perform music from various genres, including music arranged from the standard orchestral and wind band repertoire.
Dr. Andrew DeBoer, visiting assistant professor of clarinet and director of the concert, said the performance features a unique blend of instruments.
“Concertgoers can experience a variety of instruments produced by the various chamber groups that are not often experienced in a traditional wind ensemble setting,” DeBoer said. “Chamber ensembles not only give students the chance to perform music specific to their instrument, but also help develop another facet of their musicianship.”
