An exhibit currently on display in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center at the University of 㽶ƵAPP - Fort Smith features a collection of pastel artworks, photos and collages by a local artist.
More than 20 works of art by Suzanne King, an artist living in Fort Smith, are featured in an exhibit titled “Points of View.” The exhibit features several still lifes, landscapes and portraits of a subject from varying perspectives, in addition to photographs and abstract collages.
King earned her bachelor’s degree in art from the University of 㽶ƵAPP at Fayetteville. Her artwork has been included in exhibits at the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, The Fort Smith Art Center, The Van Buren Center for Art and Education, the 㽶ƵAPP Art Center in Little Rock, and the 㽶ƵAPP “Small Works on Paper” traveling exhibit.
The exhibit hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Fridays. The exhibit is located on the west end of the first floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. For more information about the exhibit, contact the Campus and Community Events Office at 479-788-7300.
