The Gentlemen Trio, a nationally-acclaimed group of tenors, will perform in Fort Smith at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30 as part of the University of 㽶ƵAPP – Fort Smith’s Season of Entertainment 37.

The performance will be held in the ArcBest Corp. Performing Arts Center, located at 55 S. 7th Street. Tickets are $27 or $25, depending on seating tier.

The group rose to prominence after the release of their self-titled album release in 2015. Shortly after, they debuted their first music video to their hit single, “Dare,” which garnered attention internationally for featuring an eight year-old amputee dancer.

In 2016, they released their follow-up album “Rise,” which debuted third on Billboard’s Classical and Classical Crossover charts. Later that year, they released a holiday album titled “Finding Christmas.”

The group has performed alongside world-renowned talent, including the band Journey, international tenor Alfie Boe and Tony Award-winning vocalist Idina Menzel.

Stacey Jones, associate vice chancellor for campus and community events, said the group would put on a “great family event.”

“These guys are phenomenal. We’re very ecstatic about being able to bring musicians of their caliber to Fort Smith,” Jones said. “They’ll cover several genres in the evening, from classical to contemporary to pop. It will be a great evening that you won’t want to miss.”

The concert is part of Season of Entertainment 37, a yearlong lineup of entertainment sponsored by the 㽶ƵAPP featuring a variety of plays, musicals and symphonic performances.
