Adjusting to college life can be hard. The 22 resident assistants named for the upcoming year at the University of Ļć½¶ŹÓʵAPP ā Fort Smith plan to make it easier.
Twelve new RAs will join 10 returning ones and the rest of the housing crew for the 2018-19 academic year at UAFS. RAs will serve in the Lionās Den residential housing and the Sebastian Commons apartments.
āThe RAs are one of the top reasons that living on campus is a āvalue-addedā experience compared to other living options,ā said Beth Eppinger, director of housing and residential life. āThe RAs provide social and educational events, they assist in mediations, they connect residents to campus resources, and they provide a safe and fun home.ā
